Buying a new car? Here’s my price guide on a Ford Ranger XLT 4WD Dual Cab
Philip was referred to me recently as the best person to discuss the purchase of a new car, namely a Ford Ranger XLT 4WD Dual Cab in Blue Lightning Metallic Paint, Tech Pack, as well as All-Terrain Tyres.
According to the Ford Website, if you just wandered into your local dealer, you could expect to pay around $57,408 drive away.
I do love the challenge of buying any new car cheaper and I went to the market to see what I could do for Phil.
Most new car buyers are treated as retail customers and of course, as I’ve mentioned before, new car dealers want to make as much profit as they can.
Those same dealers treat Car Business as a fleet buyer and I know that I’ll get the lowest price on the market. Here’s what I was able to do for Philip
Factory Price including accessories and factory options $57,408
Here are the prices that I was able to get for Phil
Offer 1 $55,392
Offer 2 $55,142
Offer 3 $54,550
Offer 4 $54,450
Offer 5 $54,950
Offer 6 $54,450 (Michelin A/T Tyres)
Offer 7 $54,448 (Bridgestone Desert Dueller A/T Tyres)
Honestly, why would you buy your next new car any other way?
My best price was better by nearly $3000 on the advertised Ford online price and just under $1000 lower than the highest offer.
And Phil got to choose between Bridgestone and Michelin All Terrain Tyres.
