I’m Bob Aldons, the owner of the 1800Approved Franchise for North Brisbane and carbusiness.com.au. This is a great opportunity for anyone with loans experience who wishes to have flexible hours and the ability to work from home as a finance broker
This position will suit ex-Business Managers, retired Bank Managers, or stay at home Mums with a finance background. If you don’t want to be tied to an office for 60 hours per week this is the perfect role for you. There are no set hours, just the need to contact leads as they come in. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home or our office.
Incoming enquiries will primarily be motor vehicle, motorcycle, boat and motorhomes though there will also be inquiries on personal loans, commercial facilities and equipment finance. Our franchisor will train you in all of these areas and provide ongoing support to help you get your deals approved.
You will have access to up to 30 different lenders and multiple insurance companies. Your lead submission will be internet based and also from referral sources and cars sold by our sister company Car Business.
I’ll actively support you with a database of some 13,000 private and small businesses and assist you to set up referral sources in our franchise area. Our regular newsletter to this database is a tremendous source of enquiry. The remuneration package is commission only, but based on a generous percentage of income earned between 35% and 50%. You’ll also receive out of pocket expenses such as fuel when you use your own car.
Do you fit the requirements? You’ll need to have:
- A reliable car
- Certificate 4 or the ability to obtain this level quickly
- Fantastic communication ability
- A great phone manner
- Be highly competent in time management
