CLEAN GUARD SERVICE PROGRAMS
Four effective programmes to optimise your car’s fuel efficiency, performance, safety and comfort.
CleanGard Service Programs use specially formulated cleaning products and state-of-the-art application equipment to compliment your car’s handbook service. Used regularly, all of the vital mechanical areas of your vehicle are kept in a “clean as new” condition, which optimises performance, fuel efficiency, driver comfort, and importantly, resale value.
Suggested rotation of supplementary services (listed below) to ensure optimum fuel efficiency, vehicle reliability and occupant comfort.

Manufacturer’s service interval at every 12 months/15,000kms
CAR EXHAUST – AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE
Our cars are a major contributor to greenhouse gases. Each day our cars’ exhausts pump out millions of tons of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and carbon solids.
A CLEANER ENGINE
A large part of the solution is to make engines more efficient. A clean engine is more efficient. It uses less fuel and produces less pollution.
But how do we thoroughly clean the internal of an engine in a cost effective manner?
REDUCING GREENHOUSE GASES FOR THE FUTURE
The solution is the CleanGard Emission Service. A regular CleanGard Emission Service effectively cleans all major areas of your car’s engine – the lubrication system, the fuel delivery system and combustion chambers, and the pollution control system.
IMMEDIATE BENEFITS TODAY
For today – the CleanGard Emission Service optimises fuel efficiency and engine performance – which saves you money every time you fill up.
EXTEND YOUR ENGINES’ LIFE
The CleanGard Emission Service employs a powerful solvent cleaner to remove oil sludge, acids, unburnt fuel and contaminants from the engines lubrication system. This results in less wear and tear on engine components, and lower contamination of the pollution control system.
IMPROVING FUEL DELIVERY
The CleanGard Emission Service uses two different fuel system cleaners – one specifically for petrol engines, and one for diesel engines. Both start by removing water, fuel varnishes and resins from the fuel tank, and then clean the hoses, lines and fuel injectors. As they burn, they soften and remove deposits from the valves and combustion chambers, which also assists in engine efficiency.
CLEANING THE PVC
The Final Clean in this service is to soften and remove contaminant build up from the Pollution Control Valve (PCV). We use an advanced evaporative cleaner for this task. The result improves the effectiveness of the PVC, which contributes to a cleaner exhaust, and improved efficiency.
As part of normal driving, deposits of carbon, acids, fuel gums and resins build up inside your engine. These contribute to a steady decline in engine efficiency and performance. As deposits increase, the performance of your engine gradually deteriorates – using more fuel, becoming a little less responsive. Eventually, the engine becomes harder to start – particularly on cold mornings. Fuel efficiency declines, which means increasing fuel costs.
PREMIUM FUEL- IS IT ENOUGH?
Detergent fuels are important to help minimise carbon deposits as you drive every day. Unfortunately, due to their low concentration of active solvents, they cannot prevent deposits forming, or totally remove deposits which have previously formed.
The CleanGard Carbon Blaster Service sends powerful solvents and accelerants into your engine under high pressure to remove built up fuel gums and resins from fuel injectors – without the need to remove the injectors from the engine. This is a major cost saving. Furthermore, Carbon Blaster removes deposits from the valves, ports and combustion chambers to restore air/fuel mixture quality for a cleaner “burn”.
CleanGard Carbon Blaster Service removes the stubborn carbon deposits which rob engines of power, and immediately returns fuel injector spray patterns to manufacturers specifications. The result is optimum fuel efficiency and engine performance.
To obtain the best results, the CleanGard Carbon Blaster Service is recommended every 20,000 kilometres or 12 months.
As air is drawn through the ventilation system of your car, minute particles of road grime, dust, dirt, nicotine, and everyday odour particles accumulate on the damp surface of the air conditioning evaporator. As these deposits build, bacteria, fungus and mould grow – using the deposits as a food source.
Some of the particles, the organisms, and their by-products and odours are then blown into the cabin for you to inhale.
CLEAN AIR IS THE ANSWER
CleanGard Clean Air is a simple and effective service to regularly wash the surface of the evaporator clean. It kills the resident bacteria, fungus and mould, and loosens and washes away the nicotine, dirt and dust to provide you with fresh, clean air.
A dirty air conditioning evaporator is the source of most of the stale, mouldy and unpleasant odours withina car. Having the CleanGard Clean Air Service performed will remove these nasty odours and importantly, the source of the odours.
By removing the “blanket” of dust, dirt and grime from the surface of the evaporator, factory efficiency is restored. The air conditioning and ventilation system will work like new – producing fresh, cold air.
To obtain the best results the CleanGard Clean Air Service is recommended at every 20,000 kilometres or 12 months.
THE INSIDE STORY
Within the power steering system the fluid is subjected to extremes of heat and pressure which cause the fluid to degrade. As part of this degredation, carbon, acids and oil varnishes are deposited on critical surfaces. The heat and pressure also causes oil seals to harden, which results in external leaks and internal pressure losses. The result is premature component wear, unsightly oil leaks on driveways, and critically, loss of steering response, assistance, feel and safelt.
The answer is to have a regular CleanGard Power Steering Flush Service. Without dismantling, this cost effective method introduces a powerful cleaner using the latest application equipment, flushing contaminants from the pump, rack and hoses. Then the system is re-filled with fresh fluid combined with a specialised oil seal conditioner which restores internal pressures and seals external leaks.
AVOIDING EXPENSIVE REPAIRS
Performed regularly, this service will extend the life of expensive components such as the power steering rack and pump.
To obtain the best results, the CleanGard Power Steering Flush Service is recommended every 40,000 kilometres or 24 months.
